After traveling up the lengthy Geirangerfjord, it’s time to check out the town and go on some waterfall hikes.

After arriving in Geiranger Norway, we travel through this quintessential town which has no shortage of mountains, waterfalls, sheep, goats, and amazing views.

With only 24 hours before we need to shove off again, we try and fit in as much as possible…but make the promise that we will definitely be back someday.

Much love from Norway!

We’re Surrounded By Waterfalls, So, Life is Pretty Good (MJ Sailing – Ep 131)

Checking off another Norway bucket list item, we head up the Geiranger Fjord.

This week we bring you YET ANOTHER episode that I have been looking forward to for a long, long time.
As we make our way south along the coast of Norway, we pop into the Geiranger Fjord, which we rushed past on our way north. Listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site, it did not take long to see what all the hype was about.
Before we could even make it to the end of the fjord and the cute little town waiting for us, we must have seen hundreds of waterfalls along the way. If you were to make ONE trip to Norway, we’d recommend this as your stop.
Stay tuned to see why.
Much love,
Jessica, Matt & Georgie

From FOG to THUNDERSTORMS…What Is With This Weather??!! (MJ Sailing – Ep 130)

Making our way down the coast of Norway we run into a few less than ideal sailing conditions. One day we’re stuck in fog that gives us 75 ft of visibility, and the next day we run into a menacing thunderstorm as we approach our anchorage.

With all the small outer lying islands and rocks that run along the coastline of Norway, we’re constantly checking our radar and using multiple charts to make sure our boat stays exactly where it needs to be.

Much love from Norway!
